Crusader Entertainment attorney’s closing arguments claim that the entire premise of the “Sahara” film project was based on the lie that Cussler’s Dirk Pitt book series sold 100 million copies, not the 40 million that was revealed during the litigation. If Crusader had known only 40 million books had been sold, they would have made a different deal with Cussler and made a different, lower-budget movie. Yawn……what? oh yeah – rich people suing each other because they didn’t make ENOUGH money – right.
