NPR’s On Point had the author of Body Brokers on to discuss body snatchers. i’m such a ghoul. i have a small forensic fetish, I like reading about this kind of stuff, perhaps it’s the last topic that could possibly give me goosepimples. horror novels don’t do it for me. but books like Dead Men Do Tell Tales : The Strange and Fascinating Cases of a Forensic Anthropologist by William R. Maples, Corpse: Nature, Forensics, and the Struggle to Pinpoint Time of Death by Jessica Snyder Sachs , Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach – these books both gross me out and fascinate me.
With the present pop fad in forensics I can’t keep up with reading all the books on this topic that get release. who knew there were this many ghoulies out there?
