anthropomorphism for fun and profit

Eraserman. I know he’s kinda dopey but I can’t draw for shit . . . but I can trace . . . so I traced a few bits and then filled in all the other parts.

As they say a picture is worth 1000 words. I like logos, icons, mascots etc, people remember them. One of the 1st things I do for a new business, is to design a theme – a couple of appropriate fonts, letterheads, envelopes, business cards. I am most proud of one I did for a defunct gardening magazine, a dark green ivy leaf as part of the logo, all the papers were cream and the typography was dark green – mediocre magazine – but spectacular print matter. Looks very professional – makes all the difference when the only impression someone gets of your business, is a label or an invoice or business card.

I have been jonesing for an ‘eraserman’ character for a few weeks now, but I couldn’t bribe anyone to draw one for me. So, alas I had to make do.
