I have no reason to post this, other than I though it was wicked cool.

The heavily foxed page is the blank sheet that follows the front free endpaper. And the inverse offset is from the inscription on the front free endpaper.

The ink must have altered the pH of the paper beneath so over the years that paper was protected from discoloration. Very weird eh?

and yes, I know they are both out of focus.
