Is reading in the bathroom considered multi-tasking?

“Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonour’d, and unsung.” – Sir Walter Scott.

A buddy of mine has me putting together a collection of his father’s favorite poems. His dad, a renown antiquarian bookseller in his time, collected this 19th century stuff; all with now familiar lines, but with authors often obscured by time. Putting it together is an interesting task. On the one hand I say: “but this stuff is all over the net why bother putting it in a book?” But on the other hand, as a collection they represent things most precious to his father, so in essense they are a little bit of what he wanted to pass on. It’s just a reprint of old material so publishing it in a cloth bound hardcover with hand sewn signatures would be cost prohibitive. Hence I have been scouring the scrapbooking stores for a cheap but elegant solution for Sicpress’s 1st book of poetry. And I think I found it : black 8″x8″ cloth albums with post bindings. I have about a ream of expensive laid paper kicking about, that had been cut to 8½”x9″ so that ties it up nicely.

This is the first work I have enjoyed doing for ages.
