that toddling town*

in from Win . . . Schaeffer.

Printers Row Bookfair • June 9-10, downtown Chicago, probably the best book spot on earth for a couple days a year with about 170 dealers, author readings and signings, kids’ activities, etc. The Sunday June 3 CHICAGO TRIBUNE will have a nice pullout section all about the Fair, exhibitors, authors, vendors, etc.

I’ll have 2 sidewalk tables at the east side of the street, near the poetry tent, and would welcome folks to come by and say hello. The tables are under my name. Selling primarily classics in literature, poetry, history, drama (Oxford World’s Classics series). Also hundreds of DK kid’s books (I bought a skid).

Simultaneously going on nearby are the Chicago Blues Festival and Columbia College’s “Festival of the Book”. The latter has artists’ books, papermaking, letterpress printing, etc.

* what the F does “toddling town” mean? ed.
